What goes into a day in the life of an executive producer?

(I know there is probably no real typical day, but I've always wanted to know what those "executive producer" people do.)

I sort of love that Wendy Watson is half Cuban. As a Cuban girl myself, I can totally appreciate that! Did that come about because Natalie Morales is Cuban, or did you guys write the character with the intention?
